This tankard stands approximately 16cm tall and was made by Wedgwood in the 1930s. The design was created by Keith Murray whose art is highly collected today.
It is in good order apart from a faint stain on one side (refer photo 2), hardly noticeable but mentioned for accuracy.
"Keith Day Pearce Murray was a New Zealand born architect and designer who worked as a ceramics, glass and metalware designer for Wedgwood in the Potteries area of Staffordshire in the 1930s and 1940s."
This item may be collected from My Mother's at Old Petrie Town sunday morning market or may be delivered within Brisbane area by arrangement.
